28-Aug-19 E-Waste Seminar conducted in Adarsh Public School, Vikaspuri, Delhi
E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life." Computers, televisions, printers, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products.
Whether from breakdown, slow-down, or just the availability of a newer model, people discard electronics at the slightest inconvenience. It’s not just laziness or a lust for the future, either; the economics of gadgets encourages disposal. In some cases, for example, buying a new printer is cheaper than buying a set of new ink cartridges.
The increase in consumption of electronics has two major adverse ecological effects. First, it significantly increases mining and procurement for the materials needed for production of gadgets. And second, discarded devices produce large quantities of electronic waste.
Oscar International limited is an authorized dealer under E-waste Management Rules 2016, and following all guidelines as prescribed by Central Pollution Control Board.
We have been conducting seminars for awareness of the simple mantra to control E-waste which is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Reduce your generation of e-waste through smart procurement and good maintenance.
Reuse still functioning electronic equipment by donating or selling it to someone who can still use it.
Recycle those products that cannot be repaired. Computer monitors, televisions and other electronic equipment should NOT be disposed of with regular garbage
